Quench your thirst with a refreshing, sweet and tart Kentucky Lemonade on Derby Day.
This year’s Kentucky Derby kicks-off today!
And it’s safe to say, visitors to the race will go after the classic Mint Julep as if it’s going out of style. After all, it’s the events official drink since 1939.
If you are looking for a more refreshing (and less alcohol-heavy) alternative, I definitely recommend a delicious, sweet and tart Kentucky Lemonade.

Sweet, tart and a little fizzy, this homemade boozy lemonade is the perfect drink now that the days are getting warmer.
If you are looking for a real crowd pleaser for your next outdoor party, you can’t go wrong with Kentucky Lemonade.
You can easily make the lemonade ahead of time; it will keep well in the fridge for a day or two. Just add the ice and fresh lemon wedges just before serving.
