Green Tea Shot
This classic fruity flavoured shot cocktail is one of the most popular whiskey-based drinks, combining Irish whiskey, peach liqueur, and sweet-and-sour mix along with a splash of lemon-lime soda.
The drink is often referred to as Jamerson Tea Shot as it was invented by whiskey company Jamerson and takes its name from the light greenish colour reminiscent of a green tea.
If you want to increase the green touch in occasion of St. Paddy’s, add a drop of green food colouring.
Serves 1
20 ml whiskey
20 ml peach liqueur
20 ml sweet-and-sour mix
a splash of lemon-lime soda
Add whiskey, peach liqueur, and the sweet-and-sour mix to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled. Pour into a shot glass and top up with a splash of lemon-lime soda.
Irish Margarita
Despite the longer list of ingredients, this delicious margarita is mixed up in no time at all.

60 ml reposado tequila
30 ml blue curacao
30 ml peach liqueur
20 ml Irish whiskey
30 ml lime juice
90 ml pineapple juice
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously until well chilled. Pour into a cocktail class over fresh ice.
Green Sparkler (Midori Spritz Cocktail)
The deliciously tasting sweet Midori melon liqueur is a perfect mixer for easy, refreshing cocktails. If you are looking for something easy to mix, then it’s the Green Sparkler. Made like a classic Spritz cocktail, the drink is also referred to as Midori Spritz.
Serves 1
30 ml Midori
15 ml lemon juice
sparkling wine to top off
In a wine glass, add Midori and lemon juice over ice. Top off with your favourite sparkling wine.
Gin Basil Smash
I am definitely stirring away from the typical St. Patrick’s Day cocktails with this one. But the vibrant green colouring makes it just perfect for the day.
Serves 1
10-12 fresh basil leave
60 ml gin
45 ml lemon juice
15 ml simple syrup
Add gin and basil leave in a cocktail shaker. Muddle basil leaves to release the flavours. Add ice and remaining ingredients and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. Strain into a cocktail glass over fresh ice. Garnish with more basil leaves.
Leprechaun Mimosa
A classic for St. Patrick’s Day while also the perfect drink to be enjoyed along with some nibbles for an al-fresco aperitive, this three-ingredients only Leprechaun Mimosa is made in just a minute or less.
If you love champagne and have never tried this one, make sure to put it on your list. All you need is orange juice, blue curacao and of course, champagne.
